What tech events can I attend while at Network School?

Astana has a real tech-event calendar, and Network School is part of it. The biggest event is AI & Digital Bridge, the national IT forum, which runs 1–3 October 2026 at the EXPO International Exhibition Centre, and Balaji Srinivasan is speaking there. The first day, 1 October, is invitation-only; the open programme is on 2–3 October. Linked to it is the Astana AI Film Festival, which drew more than 8,000 entries from 125 countries and has a $2 million prize fund, plus a separate $1 million investment fund from Balaji for promising AI teams. Under its agreement with the government, Network School has also committed to organising conferences, forums and hackathons in Kazakhstan, and plans to explore hosting the Network State Conference there. That last one is a plan with no date yet. On campus, guest speakers, workshops and community events are part of the standard membership.
