About attendNS and how this guide works
attendNS is an independent, unofficial guide to Network School in Astana, Kazakhstan. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Network School. Its aim is to answer the questions people have before applying, including the ones official material does not cover, and to be clear about how sure each answer is.
Who writes it
The guides are written by an attendNS contributor who has spent several months living at Network School. What they saw first-hand is checked against the sources below, and the label on each answer shows which kind of information it rests on.
Where the information comes from
Most answers rest on three kinds of source. The first is Network School itself: ns.com, and public statements by the school and its founder, Balaji Srinivasan. The second is official Kazakh sources, which means the Kazakhstan Ministry of Foreign Affairs for visas and entry rules, and Astana Hub and government announcements for events and programmes. The third is press coverage and published interviews about the Astana campus.
When an answer relies on a specific source, its page links to it under "Verify with".
What the labels on each answer mean
Every answer carries one label and a "last checked" date. Confirmed means Network School or an official authority has stated it. Reported means it comes from press coverage or from members and visitors. Estimate is our own inference, labelled because there is nothing official to go on. Not yet confirmed covers things that are expected, or that held at the old campus, and haven't been confirmed for this one.
Only Confirmed and Reported answers are published to search engines as structured data. Estimates and unconfirmed answers still have pages, but are never presented to search engines as settled fact.
Keeping it current
The price, the cohort start and the location appear on many pages, so they are kept in one place and change everywhere at once. Each answer shows the date it was last checked, and the site was last reviewed on 2026-09-24. Visa rules and prices change; check anything you are relying on against the linked source before you book.
Referral links
The apply buttons use attendNS's Network School referral link. Applying through it gets you your first week free and priority review of your application. attendNS may also receive a referral benefit from Network School. Answers are written the same way whether or not they flatter Network School. See the downsides and who should not go. The terms cover this and the site's use of analytics.
