What is the alcohol situation?

Alcohol is legal and freely available in Kazakhstan, and Astana has bars and restaurants that serve it normally. Inside the community, the culture skews toward health optimisation, so drinking is common but not central, and plenty of members do not drink at all. Nobody will pressure you either way. If a heavy drinking scene is what you are looking for in a community, this is not it.
