Which airport should I fly into?

Fly into NQZ, Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport. It's the main airport for Astana, roughly 20km from the centre. It is Kazakhstan's second-busiest airport, so there are connections, but rarely direct ones from outside the region: most routes come via Istanbul, Dubai, Frankfurt or Almaty. In winter, leave plenty of time between flights, because snow delays are normal.
